Our Dream Wedding

I wanted to share our wedding and all the ideas behind it. We put so much thought, time, and energy into planning and the night went so fast! I will have this to look back on and remember how wonderfully thought out this wedding was!  I of course got a lot of ideas from Pinterest so maybe this can add to the list of things people can do for their weddings! It was truly my dream Wedding!!!
I wore these down the aisle "Mrs. Green in Green Heels" I switched to Toms for the reception!

This was one of my favorite pictures. Jake and I love the outdoors so this captured our personality so well...
I just loved my dress not to mention my hair! Thank you miss Kody!!

The best picture ever... love that this memory was captured.....tears.....
One of my wonderful friends gave me the "I Do" sticker to put on my awesome sparkled out Toms. Jake picked out my ring all by himself, he knows me so well

This was another favorite picture. We had access to so much land for our pictures. This was behind our church. So Prettttttyyyy

I fell in love with these vases. I got these at hobby lobby on clearance for 20$ I couldn't have asked for a better florist (Jenny from Beck's Florist)
My Maid of Honor Lexi got me this. "Mrs. Green"hanger....LOVE IT

My gorgeous gown that I got from Bridal Elegance in Bloomington

My mom and I spent so much time making these flower fabric balls. I used Cotton fabric from hobby lobby and bought Chinese lanterns from here

My photographer was amazing. This was the belt that went around my dress.

I created these wedding programs. I just used Microsoft publisher and I got to invites per page. I bought card stock from Office max. Super inexpensive!

You can see my heels popping through. They were bright green for "Mrs. Green"

We had the best lighting for our wedding.

These are my gorgeous bridesmaids! I've always had such creative friends so I thought it would be fun to find a dress that fit each girls personality rather than make them all wear the same dress.

can you say AMAZING lighting!!!

This is one of my sweet nieces who was a flower girl. I couldn't find matching dresses so I decided to make them! I made the tu tu's by following a tutorial part 1 here and part 2 here. I bought leotards and paired them with headbands that I found at Charming Charlie's!

We literally had this sign made 3 nights before the wedding by the wonderful Steve Rice (a local friend)

When we looked at the church, this is one of the first things we noticed! Such a cool old tree.  Jake was determined to get a picture there! Look at those handsome men!

Love that my photographer captured this moment...my man and mommy to be

Daddies Little GIrl

I found these awesome lanterns at pier one for 25% off. I got them for only 10 dollars a piece! I ordered battery operated lights from hobby lobby because I didn't want to be put on Americas Funniest Home Video" for my dress lighting on fire :)

My awesome step mother helped create my vision of the head table. My husband and I went to auctions, garage sales, and flea markets to find these awesome mason jars. We didn't spend over 3 dollars per jar. My husband called one morning to tell me he got about 20 of them for 5 dollars!! HOLLA!

My wonderful mother found this idea (along with many more). I LOVED this idea. We borrowed this old luggage cart from a family member and my mom bought the letters from hobby lobby. The containers you see to the left were bought at an auction for a dollar (we got about 12 for 1$)

My little sweet niece made it down the aisle!

Aren't my bridesmaids just GORGEOUS!? I wanted to stick with light blush colors so I used different tones of  light pinks, purples, and neutrals

This was a white vase I found at hobby lobby for 10 bucks!

I saved some more money by making these menus on card stock using Microsoft publisher!

Another hobby lobby trip to make these. Bought the letters and spray painted them

I found this idea on pinterest. I bought the popcorn from here. I found the big bins at a local farm and home store. I bought candies to put on the side and tied fabric around the bins. I bought seasonings from Kernel Seasons. I used labels to put on the salt shakers to give it a special touch. For the labels and all the info go here. Scroll down to the "credits'

at first I said I would never use babys breath in my wedding but I loved it in a blue mason jar by itself! I had candles every where!! buy them here at wholesale!

We went to Third Sunday Market in Bloomington Illinois to find all my "antique" looking things including this awesome frame that we lost after :( We got an awesome deal on it and used it for out seating chart stand!

close up of the seating chart. We made these using cardstock and then we glued them to burlap and attached by paperclips and twine

These little gems were in a mix of our mason jars we got in an auction. We basically got them for free and they went so nicely with our colors

Antique Jars we got from an auction

My step mother and I made these using lace, twine, and pearls.

My dad, grandpa, and I took a day to cut down various types of wood at our farm. It was a fun day!

My mom being the caring lady that she is put together snacks and fun games for the kiddos to do

Another creation from my step mom using twine, pearls, and a mason jar

Can you see the white boxes used for center pieces? My husband put those together with our pastor's son. I can home one day and they had them all painted and distressed for me! I made the wine bottles into table numbers. My mom went dumpster diving at a winery. We put water with food coloring inside then I wrapped burlap around them and wrote on them with chalk!

I bought the branches from here. We cut our own but quickly realized it would be to hard to travel an hour and not break them all! See the little candles hanging? My wonderful sister and law and my awesome niece Josey gave me those! BABY FOOD JARS!!

I bought these lanterns from Jeffery Alan's. Once again 50% off!!

I found two of these vases at Michaels. I love the color. If I could have found more I would have got them! Look at those big roses and hydrangeas!!
This was a clear mason jar that we spray painted. It turned out sooo cool! We sprayed the inside of the jar to give it a nice finish

I found all of these old antique boxes at 3rd Sunday Market.  It's a flea market that is every 3rd Sunday a month. We found so much awesome stuff! My mom made this burlap drapery....IN LOVE

A slab of wood my daddio and I cut

That is the view of our head table. Loved the location (not the caterers) See the big G at the top? 3rd Sunday Market!!

Love this picture....

Kissy Kissy

My awesome Bouquet made my Jenny at Beck's Florist! I placed a locket that my grandpa had given my grandma on her wedding day but I don't see it in this picture

Look at our shadows! Such a fun group

Ok so my friends and I have always been so inappropriate. I have such pretty friends but all of them are pretty sick minded!! Mindy and Corey couldn't wait for this picture ;)

Had to add the men into this one!

My Maid of Honor made this for me. She is the most Crafty person I know! Thanks Rosie :)

Found this & sign on Etsy!! Another last minute buy!

another favorite

So Jake and I have this little Dive in Canton Illinois we love going to and we ALWAYS get their cheesecakes. We said to eachother one day.....I wonder if they could do our wedding!? We got the ladies number that makes them and she made over 10 flavors of cheesecake!! AMAZING!!!!

SOOO PRETTTTYYYY. Thank you to all the mommys for making this look AWESOME. My mom made all the cake holders! She bought plates and glued them to candle stick holders. She found all of them at antique stores!

This was probably one of my favorite things of the whole wedding. You can see in the background and below and on my head table....my momma made this awesome burlap hanger. It was so cool looking! We incorporated a lot of burlap into this wedding!

I just want to thank ALL of our family members again for all the hard work they put into this wedding to make it happen! It truly was a dream come true and we are so HAPPY!!!
